St. Dominic's is a 4 year project we undertook to rehabilitate, the St. Anne' Priory residence behind St. Anne's Church in Fall River, MA. This 5 million dollar total rehabilitation of this old gothic style stone building was a quite and undertaking, and it is now a huge and beautiful Elderly Housing Complex named St. Dominic's. The creation of St. Dominic’s Apartments was a cooperation of the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, which funded most of the project through the city of Fall River, Community Action for Better Housing and Catholic Social Services.
n size. All apartments have a brand new kitchen, living and dining space, large bathroom, and a large bedroom with huge storage and closet space. All apartments on all floors are handicapped accessible, and St. Dominic's also has off street parking. Many of the apartments also retain the unique architectural features of this old gothic building, with cupolas, rounded seating areas, huge dormers, vaulted ceilings, and one apartment even has the old vault. Tenants pay 30% of their income which includes utilities and the entire building has central heat and air conditioning. The house will also feature a live-in property manager, and
