ILEAP's mission is to provide low-cost, high-quality immigration-related legal services and educate communities in Southeastern Massachusetts concerning immigration law and policies.
We provide free and low-cost legal services for low-income refugees and immigrants, including assistance with immigration documents, and legal representation before government agencies. We provide legal representation on family-based immigration matters including consular processing, adjustment of status, naturalization, family petitions, political asylum, TPS, and removal defense. We also present education workshops, trainings and conferences on current immigration trends and policies impacting immigrant communities in Southeastern Massachusetts.
We service the Fall River Diocese in Massachusetts which covers Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton, Attleboro, the Cape and the islands; you can see our service map here.
ILEAP is staffed by a full-time attorney, a part-time paralegal, full-time caseworker/detention paralegal, and student interns. ILEAP also makes use of pro-bono attorney services.
Our staff is multi-lingual and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, and German. We also have access to other language speakers on an as needed basis. While based out of our main Fall River Office we will make appointments at other area offices as needed
