CITIZENSHIP SERVICES

CSP (Citizen Services Program) is a federal grant program to prepare Legal Permanent Residents to become naturalized citizens

CSP currently offers Citizenship Preparation classes in New Bedford and services to support applicants for naturalization throughout the Fall River Diocese (Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the Islands).

Under this grant, the new program will integrate and expand current services, including:

  • Two 18-week Citizenship Preparation classes per year in each of three locations: Fall River, New Bedford, and Hyannis
  • Monthly workshops throughout the region to provide information about the naturalization process and to provide assistance in completing the application forms
  • Individual assistance by qualified caseworkers

The services described on this page are supported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under Grant Award Number 2011-CS-010-000006.
