The 1-800-HOMELESS phone number will no longer be available to access the Coordinated Entry System (CES) beginning September 1, 2020. Individuals or families who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, should contact:
Fall River  (774) 520-2555
New Bedford  (508) 999-4757
Attleboro/Taunton (and other Bristol County areas)  (508) 884-8750

The CES is an efficient network of care, helping individuals and families resolve their housing crises by accessing valuable resources in an equitable, person-centered, and transparent manner. Current residents, or those seeking to return to Fall River after being displaced, benefit from a centralized assessment system to address the needs of individuals and families who are fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, who are seeking shelter or services from non-victim specific providers. As part of the Coordinated Entry process, staff will assess the specific circumstances and housing or service needs of individuals and families . These assessments are used to identify and prioritize services based on the need of the individual or family, ensuring that those who need help the most, get the help first, with referrals to housing, services, and providers being made.
